Once upon a time, there was a girl. Her name was Lily. She lived near a big pond. The pond was green.

One day, Lily walked by the pond. She saw a big toad. The Mama Toad sat on the edge. It looked at her. Lily did not like the toad. It looked strange. She said, "I will be your godparent!" She joked. She said it fast. The Mama Toad lifted its foot. It looked like a hand. Lily was very surprised. She ran away quickly. She did not look back.

Evening came. Lily went to her room. The Mama Toad was there. It sat on the floor. Lily saw it. She was surprised again. "Do not scream," said Mama Toad. "You made a promise. Be my godparent. A promise is important. You must come with me." Lily felt scared.

Lily was still scared. She followed Mama Toad. The toad hopped away. They went through the village. It was dark. They came to the pond. At the pond, reeds grew tall. There was a secret door. Mama Toad hopped inside. Lily followed her. They went down steps. It was a new place.

Down below, a wonder happened. Mama Toad changed. She became a woman. She was the Water Queen. She held a baby. It was a Baby Water Spirit. This was Lily's godchild. The Water Queen smiled. She spoke to Lily. "You helped me," she said. "You will be happy. You will not be sad."

Then a big party started. The world was bright. It shone like silver. Many water spirits were there. They were kind to Lily. She felt special. The Water Queen gave Lily gifts. They were three special gifts. They were very wonderful. These gifts made Lily happy. She was happy for long time.

Later, Lily was back home. She woke up in her bed. The gifts were with her. They were truly real. It was not a dream. Lily was very happy. She had a special secret. She never went near the pond. But she always remembered magic. Lily learned small words make big magic. Be kind with your words, always!
